[Platt responded]
So you favor porno on PBS? Why am I not surprised? You seem to be
fixated on sex.

[Mike jumped in]
Apologies to Arlo if I'm stealing his thunder, but I can't resist jumping in:

If you believe that a female nipple always implies sex; if you see the
naked human body as nothing more than a pornographic object: who is
really sex-fixated here?

[Arlo]
No apologies necessary. Notice how many times Platt has thrown in "group sex"
with the idea of hippiedom. Notice how my statements that both sides in this
right-wing piss-off share culpability was characterized by Platt as "Arlo wants
to have group sex with terrorists". Notice how a while back his condemnation of
"rock music" was because of it "beat of sex". It won't take you long to see
who's really "sex fixated" and trying to throw sand into the bull's eyes.

The right-wing evidences its Victorianism quite evidently in its fear and
loathing of "sex". And, as Pirsig said, since the hippie revolution failed, the
country has been on a slow drift back to Victorian morality under what he
rightly laughs at, a "return to values, whatever that means."

I'm not sure what type of "values" we are returning to, when we air two hours of
blood and violence and cry "evil" over a one second glimpse of a bare breast.
But, I think reversing the hippie slogan (as Platt always points out) is pretty
much the right-wing way, "make war not love".
