[Platt]
Yes, I know. You've swallowed the multiculturists propaganda hook, line
and sinker that all cultures are inherently equal except America which
sucks.

[Arlo]
Yes, I know. All you can do is retort with Limbaughian distortions. Did I say
"America sucks"? Didn't I say America, and western culture, has done a lot of
good things? But even the slightest suggest that your masturbatory fantasy of
America is misguided and all I get is Limbaugh. Talk about propaganda.

[Platt]
But, since you are closely associated with liberal academe, I'm not surprised.
Fortunately we have Pirsig to offer an opposing viewpoint.

[Arlo]
And thanks for proving again why right-wing zealots have a hard time in the
academy. Fortunately, most of us don't ignore the bulk of what Pirsig said just
because it interupts our masturbatory righteousness.

[Platt]
And if you don't think there were warlike Indians, I wonder whose
history you've read. Let me guess. Howard Zinn.

[Arlo]
More distortion. Big surprise. I never said there weren't warlike indians. But I
read Pirsig and through him, Dusenberry, know that there was much in their
culture that was superior to ours, and to which we owe a great deal. You keep
that one "dashing brains" quote hung over your bed, and ignore the 99% of other
things Pirsig said about the indians.

But then again, when your "academy" is the Limbaugh Institute for Advanced
Conservative Studies, such distortion is only par for the course.
