Gav,

You end this with "awareness without thought is neither subjective nor
objective: it is unitary, dynamic."

Awareness without thought is indeed neither subjective nor objective. It is
a regression to the social and biological.

Subject: [MD] the prime directive of the MOQ

is the conscious choice (or preference for) of
quality. that is the maximisation of quality
experience is the impetus for an authentic, moral,
valuable existence. this is primary. i feel that this
point is not emphasised enough.

it follows that the MOQ is therefore, in practice, an
epicurean philosophy. and being such it therefore
emphasises the central importance of aesthetic
cultivation. that is the refinement of the senses and
mind and body in order that more and higher (or more
refined) levels of quality are experienced. so in
practice the MOQ should also be (or at least be
complemented by) a practical storehouse of 'epicurea':
information, tips, techniques etc for the practical
refinement of quality apperception.

which is to say that the MOQ or quality philosophy
generally is not limited. it encompasses all kinds of
experience. it encourages a more careful, meditative
manner in which to encounter the world and thereby
heighten the quality sense. it is the continual
reminder to stay in the now, focus on the moment and
what you are doing because that is the most important
thing you will ever do. and of course it is that state
that helps the illusory nature of SOM become clearer:
awareness without thought is neither subjective nor
objective: it is unitary, dynamic.

it's all about quality, first and foremost.
