Excellent point. If craftmanship is a moral value (and I believe it is),
then allowing time to do good work is also a moral value. Efficency, getting
acceptable work done quickly, doesn't carry the same moral impetus of
craftsmanship. Efficiency seems to be a biological value in that the more
efficient creatures survive. But I'm not sure whether craftsmanship falls
into the social or the intellectual level. Any thoughts as to where on
Pirsig's moral scale craftmanship resides?
