okay i want all the blokes on the list to start wearing moonstones..... as
marsha's post illustrated beautifully and my ex-girl anabel goes on about
incessantly, feminine energies are and need to be on the up. masculine
arrogance is largely responsible for the shit we are all in. go the yin.

Not to be one to ever counter the notion of "more girls please", what comes
to mind is a minion of Governator-Girly Men, arguing whether the cover for
Lila is "nicer" in chartreuse, mauve or lavender (he says with deliberate
and fake misogyny).

Perhaps what we need to do is examine the masculine energies and bring them
back in their natural state, as Robert Bly suggests in "Iron John". We need
to be warriors, not soldiers. Klingons, not Borg. Lumberjacks, not
accountants. And we need to all stop driving minivans IMMEDIATELY! Of
course, its hard to take manly advice from a college professor who wears
paisley and plaid vests (you'll get this if you've seen the dustjacket).

you talk as if wearing moonstones would make a difference. It would take
more than half the men in the world to decide to wear moonstones to make a
difference but then the balance would switch; The forces of nature are in
dynamic balance and won't be affected by your moonstone.

There are two ways (if not more) to achieve balance, in the aggregate and
in the individual. I think Gav is arguing for balance to be achieved on the
individual level. But, I'd argue, let's not downplay or devalue those
masculine energies in the process. As spoke Hermes Trimegistus, "the
masculine truly is the Heaven of the feminine, and the feminine is the
earth of the masculine."

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to kill a yak for dinner.
