Hi DMB,

I wonder if enlightenment is what everybody is looking to obtain?  It 
might be pretty scary.  Maybe people just want to suffer less.  We 
live in a culture that is terrified of the dark, and death.  In this 
culture we are taught to hang on tightly to whatever security we can 
find.  You've read about the journey.  Isn't it a rather lonely 
experience with many trials?
