Hi Marsha,

In your first reply to my questions you said:
" Who could actually answer such questions? Certainly not I."

I'm not sure who can "actually" answer those questions but I was hoping moqers who discuss "enlightenment" might have an answer of their own thoughts and or experience that they could tell us about. Do you think the questions are in some way not appropriate or perhaps below the level of acceptability for moqers?

In any case, thanks for asking Ian to consider the questions. I found it interesting that he said he needed more than five minutes to respond.

As to your question: "What do (I) you think?"
I think it is a synergistic alignment of many things ( not necessarily the same for everyone ) that brings into being the state, the place and the experience of "enlightenment". I think it can be sustained to some degree with intention, commitment and practice I also think it can be fleeting leaving one with the memory of the moment but devoid of enlightenment itself.

I think enlightenment is or at least can be both SQ and DQ.

Smith

Hi Ian,

You sound pretty sure. Maybe you can answer beauteak4u's questions.
