To the contrary, they would have been delighted had you nailed Jesus to the
cross.  Isn't it interesting that you and I are portrayed as "weird" and
"desperate" for being chained to individuality, while all the diatribes come
from those who claim to have "de-mythologized" theirs?   They seem to be
telling us that life in the collective mind is not such a happy one.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, Platt.  Indeed, I have
considered signing off permanently, which for the majority here would be
getting rid of a nuisance.  But, to provide an example of "personal honor"
for Arlo, I'll wait to be pushed off.  Besides, the challenge is too
enticing.  When I do leave I'll bid 'adieu', not 'good luck'.

Meantime, keep up the good work!
