[Ham] Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, Platt. Indeed, I have
considered signing off permanently, which for the majority here would be
getting rid of a nuisance. But, to provide an example of "personal honor"
for Arlo, I'll wait to be pushed off. Besides, the challenge is too
enticing. When I do leave I'll bid 'adieu', not 'good luck'.
Meantime, keep up the good work!
Hi Ham and Platt and all,
I also hope it is not the case that you are signing off permanently! The
atmosphere created by your decisive insights into the individual is
appreciated. IMO an evolution (change) in consciousness, is as meaningful
for the individual as cosmic evolution (change) (tsunami) for the planet. I
disagree with your view of existence as a part of an 'essence, nothingness,
existence' triad. IMO existence is the structure of law. I am impressed with
Horse's last post.
IMO the intellectual level is the law-giver level, e.g. Moses. Structure is
seen in laws. For that reason I applaud the recent Supreme Court ruling that
the Congress is the proper creator for judgement tribunals at Guantanamo,
not the individual, the President,
Joe
