For future reference, here's a process for which you can determine where Platt
stands on any and all issues.

Start with these three simple paired axioms.

1a. The republicans are right about everything.
1b. The democrats are wrong about everything.
2a. Conservatives are wholly moral, virtuous, principled people.
2b. Liberals are immoral, deceptive, conniving evil commies.
3a. Everything right-wing radio reports is unquestionable truth.
3b. Everything the "liberal media" reports is a lie.

Then its a simple matter of breaking down the facts. In this case...

Al Gore is a democrat.
He is a liberal.
The "media" report his movie is accurate.

Finally, apply the above axioms to get "Platt's stand".

Al Gore is wrong about everything.
He is an immoral, deceptive, conniving evil commie.
His movie is nothing but lies.

See! Simple and flawless. With this rubrick in hand, "where Platt stands on a
topic" will never be ambiguous or unclear again!
