See above. "Miners" see the world as a commodity to be exploited for power
and wealth. "Gardeners" see the world as something they are part of and care
for. 

[Case]
Under a 19th century Newtonian view, the world is deterministic. It operated
like a big machine. You can force things around and it they don't work just
give them a sharp whack.

As a result of subsequent advances in physics Zukav or Capra (I forget
which) offered up this quote from physicist James Jeans "The universe begins
to look more like a great thought than a great machine" 
 
If you see the world as chaotic, filtered through the MoQ you start to see
that even the inorganic world behaves organically. In an organic system a
nudge works better than a whack.
