Platt, Gene, and Case,
[Platt says to Gene, I believe]
Oh well, coming from

> I understand.
What is me being born? What is being born? What is
birth? Age old mysteries that myths and science have
tried to answer throughout time. Science says we are
our parents chromosomes, their chromosomes are of
their parents, and so forth. So when was I actually
born? Or is birth when I am coming out of the womb?
This could become a debate about abortion versus not
abortion. Is birth when my consciousness enters this
body I now inhabit? In this case, I never had a
beginning to call birth, if birth even means
beginning. What of death? Isn't that just a change?
These are questions of the dream-time, caves in
France, G-d said 'let there be light', the Buddha is
everywhere and so is G-d and they are everlasting as
we are part of them, science has answers from the
laboratory, astronomers observing nebula where stars
gather under pressures of hot and cold from elements,
clouds of carbon dioxide, and dust, etc... and stories
of Sky Woman falling onto Turtle Island (Iroquois),
etc....
So what is birth?
Thanks,
SA
