So Platt, you're happy with the confirmation that
"Some individual, once upon a time, may have had an original idea."
The rest of us are more concerned about the other 99.999% of real life.
Can you not see the failing in your logic ... that enormous 99.998%
excluded middle between ..
An individual had an orginal idea.
and
All original ideas, always, come only from individuals.
The first is trivial, the latter is extremely far-fetched.
The interesting stuff is reality, in between.
