how seeing, rationally and intuitively, that we are one with everything we
perceive can ever be seen as a nihilistic stance !?!?!......existentially
and logically it suggests a kinship and comfort with the universe that
operates in direct opposition to alienation and nihilism....to me anyway.

You are quite right. I misspoke and was out of line. I agree with your
statement above. I think that is a purpose worthy of pursuit.

 i work with trees and plants and grow my own veggies so i feel the reality
of what i am saying everyday. that is the aliveness and intelligence of the
world is subtle but palpable all the same....and this is as far from
nihilism as it gets.

gav, you have mentioned permaculture in the past. Is that what you are
doing? I would really like to hear more about that.
