I suppose if we're discussing God, I rather like the recent answer given by
one of the better UK philosophers, Mary Warnock, to one of the readers of
the Independent newspaper:
Question: "Is there a God?" (from ZOE GREEN, Manchester)
Warnock's Answer: "There have always been gods, either as objects of fear or
of aspiration. Our ideas of God change with our understanding, both of
ourselves and of the rest of nature. I doubt whether such changing ideas
will ever disappear."

Stephen Hannon asked July 30th:
>Hey everyone!
>
>Wait a minute! Isn't the notion of God an epistemological question
>and not a metaphysical question? You may not believe in God, but
>isn't this debate better categorized under epistemology? After all
>this is the Metaphysics of Quality, and the four branches of
>philosophy are metaphysics (MOQ), epistemology (God/evolution), ethics
>(incorporated into MOQ) and aesthetics (eliminated field in ZMM).
