[MD] Responding to DQ

Here is a question...
on this discussion group as is described in this thread and others, people
often write
about people, cells, living entities, etc. responding to DQ or SQ.
What I thought I got out of Lila was the idea that it's not about
'responding'
to dynamic quality or static quality, but rather that
entities respond to a state that can be described as having quality which
we then describe as dynamic or static.
(in this case, for the amoeba, to not encounter the acid can be described as
having greater quality than to encounter the acid).
It is a biological response and therefore can be
'described' as being as the amoeba's response for a more
preferable state of being.
In my understanding, quality doesn't become static or dynamic
until the event happens. We could perhaps describe that the response
for the amoeba became dynamic at the time of the event.
In the immediacy of the response, we (or whatever
entity we're talking about) simply respond to the quality of that moment.
Sometimes it's more preferable to respond in a way that is more static,
sometimes more dynamic...but in this example below, it makes it
sound like we're trying to identify whether the acid itself is static
or dynamic.
The acid just 'exists' and the amoeba just 'exists', and when they encounter
each other, the response will be towards a greater or lesser 'quality'
experience,
and in that moment and depending
on what was the status quo of the environment at the time, the
response then becomes static or dynamic -
I just can't see describing the acid itself as either SQ or DQ.
my question is, is this what you are doing in this thread? Describing the
acid as SQ or DQ, or the event itself?

Are you suggesting the amoeba is self-aware? Conscious of the impending
danger to it's existence and moving to save itself? The amoeba doesn't
understand existing, or trouble, or threat. It is simply reacting to Dynamic
Quality using static patterns, such as move away. This is a Great example of
DQ. Experience is always DQ, isn't it?
