(1) What is money in relation to moq?
   
  (2) Money is a storage media.
   
  (3) Storage media are evolutionary devices. Therefore money is an evolutionary device.
   
  (4) The reason for (3) is that storage media can be found in all cultures and also of all static patterns of value. Storage media are essential for Quality to evolve, or transfer, from one level to the next, possibly higher or lower, according to moq hierarchy.
   
  (5) Examples of storage media: carrots, honey, meat, buckets, books, computer disks, a song, and money.
   
  (6) What is the mechanism of storage media?
   
  (7) Example: A river has no biological value to a human. A river is as biologically useful as a large pile of sand. The human dips a bucket into a river and pulls up a bucket full of river water. Like magic, the Quality pattern of the water is transferred from inorganic to biological. A bucket full of water can be used to bathe, drink, cook, irrigate. Storage media simply convert static patterns of value from one level to the next. The term "storage" is a bit misleading.
   
  (8) Why not drink from the river or bathe in the river? Why is a bucket necessary?
   
  (9) Humans did so for aeons just like animals, before they began to evolve to the next level of Quality. Try and find a society that did not utilize a bucket-like storage media. Drinking from the river is not an evolutionary act.
   
  (10) If money is an evolutionary device, then why does it seem so vulgar and "social-oriented"?
   
  (11) Money cannot be defined in terms of how it is earned or spent. A bucket cannot be defined in terms of how it is constructed or what is put in it. A bucket is a bucket. A buck is a buck.
   
  (12) Money has the special property that it can convert static patterns of value from all levels to all other levels.
   
  (13) "Good" Example: A "Lettuce Picker" earns, saves, and then spends his money on a college education. Transfer from biological to intellectual.
   
  (14) "Bad" Example: A "Rocket Scientist" fritters his salary away on the crack pipe and nasty hookers. Intellectual to biological.
   
  (15) However, "Rocket Scientists" are allowed to buy cheeseburgers and to provide shelter for themselves guilt-free. "Rocket Scientists" are not ghosts and must tend to their biological patterns.
   
  (16) There are many examples of evolutionary devices and there are many examples of storage media, money being one of these.
   
  (17) But money is extremely useful because of (12). If we tried to do without money, we would simply have to replace it with a less useful substitute, like bartering. Try exchanging adobe bricks for some good crack.
   
  (18) And money is not some vulgar "lower than intellectual" thing. 
   
  (19) Money is a really good bucket.
