[MD] Distinguishing Levels

[Case]

You are drifting towards the right track here. Think of the "levels" rather
as "colors" in a probability spectrum. 
This seems to be what physicists say about the very tiny isn't it? That we
must speak about the quantum level as the probability of this or that
particle being here or there or not at all? 
As those probabilities approach 100% things start to become predictable with
some degree of certainty. At a lower degree of resolution physics becomes
chemistry. Matter retains an inherent degree of uncertainty (DQ) even at the
atomic level but most of the quantum uncertainties have canceled out and
other source of uncertainty become apparent: sensitive dependence on initial
conditions, nonlinear dynamics all show themselves at lower (increasing
macro levels of resolution). 
Because of their ability to interact and bond with a host of other elements
carbon atoms form increasingly complex and eventually self replicating
molecules. Self replicating molecules are complex examples of self
sustaining reactions. Fire, eddies, whirlwinds, clouds are other more simple
examples of this. 
DQ is manifest not as some touchy feely mystical other but as uncertainty,
chaos, complexity and biology. This is here and now because we exist in a
nodule of space time where energy and matter are balanced (balance being a
central notion of the Tao) such that an enormous number of interactions are
possible. The shear number of possibilities results in higher probabilities
that something interesting will happen. (the 10,000 things).
As chemistry resolves from organic chemistry into biology, even more complex
interactions are possible, other forms of uncertainty emerge and new forms
of interactions can occur. Species and populations develop and physical
traits are distributed throughout those populations.
Different evolutionary strategies evolve even among microscopic organisms.
Standing still and soaking up whatever comes near. 
Moving about to gather those things needed to keep the reaction going.
Clustering together to combine efforts 
Solitary wanders
Herds and packs, 
Wolves and sheep, 
Predators and prey
Hunters, gatherer, nomads, 
Junk bond salesmen 

This is not a stairsteping set of discrete levels. It is a continuous
spectrum of probability. One can speak of static levels just as one can
speak of primary colors but the whole kit and caboodle exhibits an
astonishing self similar across scale.

All is symbiotic harmony. Is Quality. Is Tao.

I see a dot and pull back. A cluster of dots becomes a splotch of color, the
splotch becomes a brush stroke, the brush strokes become a finger, the
finger joints a hand, the hand reaches out to touch another hand, the hands
of God and Adam are surrounded by angels on a ceiling over arching a chapel
in a church in a city on a continent surrounded by water encased in clouds.
I see a dot...

Hey Platt,

      Platt I'm trying to work with you on this
discussion in a hope that I can understand where you
are coming from.  When you say inorganic level
activity is predictable, I question that.  When
elements bond, for instance in the earth's mantle, can
we really predict what these elements will become with
such a wild mix of elements everywhere bonding,
breaking up, and bonding again to some day come up
through a volcano that is not predictable as to what
the mixture of that future volcano will erupt. 
Volcano's erupt different elements on the inorganic
level from place to place who knows what the next
volcano coming up from the sea floor or land will be. 
The magma mixture in the mantle is very dynamic that
what is there now, may not be there later.
     Also, on the biological level, what will my son
look like going through the developmental stages in
the womb and out of the womb when that day comes?  I
have no idea, and the sequences of DNA are not on a
steady pattern of this is what the boy will look like
and let's get there kind of attitude.  The environment
influences brain develop and bodily development (food,
water, sound, etc...)  I don't believe that there is
an archetype or an ideal boy, flower, etc...  Why do
flowers growing in a field with seemingly the same
parents and environment grow with diversity?  So many
factors are involved and this diversity is right down
DQ's path.  I am having a hard time understanding your
predictable, seemingly archetype or set pattern where
everything has this ideal way of being with no
individual mixture of freedom that something could
quite possibly become where I'm pretty sure the flower
and DNA have no idea what they will become, as they
depend on the amount of sunlight, rain, all these
unpredictable factors.
     If, you can, please clear this up.
