     Yes, I know what you mean.  I believe I did write
a full description of what I currently view on this
collective versus individual and social versus
intellectual argument.  Nothing but fruit can come
from a philosophical argument and so I have quarrels
with how you and Platt are going at it, as Gene
mentioned.  I've been trying to keep up with the
dialogue as much as possible, and since I am off
today, I was able to put in my word last night.  It
just seems I'm still at the same conclusion where I
was last month.  I explained my reasoning in another
post so I'd rather leave that post to explain so as to
not leave anything out, which you may have seen it by
now, but I just wanted to respond to your question
"Yes?" with a yes I understand what you mean. 
Sometimes we write something on this forum and there
is no response, even an argument, and I have wondered
before if (1) it is because there is agreement or (2)
someone will still try to argue a point and just
by-pass what somebody has said without trying to
tackle what they said head-on.
