Fair enough man. The only answer I can think of right now is that we act
creatively in response to DQ. I guess it sorta seems like the purpose of
Quality is the creation of more Quality. And I understand that that is a
very weak argument, don't worry. I'll have to think about this further.

I guess I just don't see MOQ as rejecting proprietary awareness, and I'm not
sure what you mean by "the absence of a transcendent source", could you
clarify on that point? As far as I can tell, it seems like a lot of the
difference from your ideas and pirsig's resides in how you define
individuals. I don't think anyone can question the fact that Reality is
differentiated. A chair is pretty clearly not the same as a table, to most
of us. But what is the reason for this differentiation?
I would say it's based on the static patterns of quality we associate with
these objects. And I would definately agree that each individual person has
differing views of the world, but that's because their static social and
intellectual patterns limit the Dynamic Quality they can perceive. It
creates a filter.

I use the MOQ, because I feel like I can explain a whole lot of things with
it. It seems to make things very simple. I spent a long time in my youth as
a Very serious subject-object oriented guy, but I no longer feel it's a
useful mindset.

I'm actually quite interested in your idea, it sounds like it has value, and
I'm always interested in interesting ideas. I'd really like to hear more
about it. Right now it strikes me as similar to Pirsig's ideas, but framed
in SOM. Although that's as likely caused by me not fully understanding it.
You ask good questions though, and raise good points. And that's always high
Quality.
