I see a sign. 
It tells me "Stop".
I need to go.
There is no cop.

I weight my need
And the sign's intent.
Perhaps that meaning 
Is not what's meant.

I graft a thought.
A word gets added.
I twist until
The concept's padded.

And I can sped with 
Conscience clear
Past all such signs,
Until I hear

The siren call
The flash of lights.
The Truth police
Impose what's right.

Even though 
I whine and picket,
It's easier 
To pay the ticket.

If all that's True
Was writ so clear
Philosophers
Would still not hear.

Still mounds of verbiage
They would spew
The ego's desire
Upon DQ.
