I can't remember what book it was from, but something I read a while
ago(Probably Vonnegut) had a line that I think I'll treasure forever.
"I don't believe in Synonyms."
And I agree with that Whole-heartedly. The idea of two words that mean the
same thing is idiotic. If they meant the same thing, you'd use the same
word. The fact that two different words exist means they have different
means. They may reference similar things, but are the same.
"A deluge is not a flood!"
Any two words that are different cannot mean the same thing. It just doesn't
make any Sense!
