All this has nothing to do with brainstorming which depends on a group
coming together concurrently to toss around ideas. For a good 
discussion of what brainstorming is all about, look it up on Wikipedia.

How could the U.S. start wars before becoming the U.S.?

Whose land was it built upon? Indians claimed no ownership. And who 
owned the land before the Indians?.

If you want to feel guilty about something you had nothing to do with, 
be my guest. And if you don't see a difference between the freedom we 
enjoy as citizens of the U.S. and the freedom of those living under 
Hitler's regime, then there's no point in further discussion.
