Well, subatomic particles are certainly inanimate objects, Agree?
And it's been shown that the act of observation alters the state of a
subatomic particle.
So clearly Some inanimate objects are sensible to observation. Are in some
sense aware of it.
Now, I'm not saying that makes the rock sensible, just that it's a
possibility.
Maybe you should let go of illusion that your existence depends on

Would I exist if I did not observe myself? Honest question.
