I guess being so holy and educated a man, the said Mr Lama, gave due
acknowledgement to a certain Mr Blake in his snappy little title :-)

In the great convergence debate, the whole world in a grain of sand,
is often quoted. The extreme ends of the debate range from the
Dawkins' of this world, who see nothing but cold analytic "science" to
the the Talbots' who see the whole world (including the spiritual and
paranormal) as one big hologram - the whole in the part at every level
- one great interference pattern, nothing but emergence from
interactions anywhere.

I'm certainly on the great convergence side of the debate, and have
often been tempted to pick up the Dalai Lama's book as I've passed it
on bookshop shelves. I may give it a go.

William Blake was a man a million years ahead of his time, as someone
said previously on here.
