Dan

If we democratically wanted to reduce the quest
for economic growth could we? Would negative
growth be possible with the current system?
As it is we need to keep producing and consuming
more and more to keep the thing going. I have
chosen to earn less to work less to have more 
quality time, an individual choice but if we all
did this the economy would lose confidence I
suspect.
