This is more along the lines of what i was thinking when i posted this question.
As far as the books remaining popular, in print, and ever inspiring; i don't think there are any problems or threats except perhaps getting trumped by a better philosophy/plan.
But what does our hero's royalties have to do with a windfall for Moq.org? Maybe i just have no idea of RMP's contribution to moq.org beside a mention in a book. 
As for myself i'd gladly tithe to moq.org and give even more when and if i have my own personal windfall. That said i'd like to see a plan for where the money might go. But for starters i think Rebecca has a few good ideas: " maybe create a scholarship for academic study of Pirsig's work;" [full scholarship to Ant's class/program]...."Make the conference an annual event;" [have it at one of the places a long the ZMM or Lila trip ( on a boat docked at The West 79th Street Boat Basin Café, in Montana or along the Russian river]
