You ideas of doing good are just as political and ideological as 
anybody's as we can readily see from your posts that say we must help  the poor
and accept blame for terrorism.

You are the master of deception and distortion, aren't you? Sometimes you really
piss me off, because despite my taking the time to repost ad nauseum to
misrepresentations of my views, I continue to see the same distortive bunk
tossed out.

First, I never said "we are to blame for terrorism". I said, right-wing idiots
on BOTH SIDES of this pissing content share good amounts of culpability. Us,
and them. Now, go ahead and reprint this as "Arlo wants to have group sex with
terrorists".

Second, I never said people won't, or shouldn't, have political ideas. What I
said was that these ideas would cease to be "fixed" by blind allegience to
static ideological patterns. That something I believe aligns with liberalism
(workers' compensation) and others with conservatism (gun ownership), means
nothing to me. That you continue to paint me as nothing but some liberal
because I dare to disbelieve the Holy Writ of Conservative Dogma is just
evidence of placing your belief in what is good subservient to what is "my
party, my ideology or my nation".

The point is, people should follow what they feel is "good", whether or not it
aligns with party ideology. I realize this is heresy in the world of Platt,
where good is defined upfront as the party and the nation, but that's your
problem, not mine.

Your political positions as you've outlined them from time to time on this site
pretty much follow liberal ideology.

That's because you create and maintain such a ridiculous dichotomy, where if you
don't accept EVERYTHING one party mandates, you are "the enemy". It is this
ridiculous allegience to static patterns that the contrarian-hippie abhors, but
the right/left-wing zealots clings to. I disagree with "liberal ideology" on
many points, its not my fault you are so ridiculous attached to "conservative
ideology" that you are blinded to this.
