Talk about distortion! You can't even quote correctly what is right in
front of your nose. I never said you said "we are to blame for
terrorism" I said (see above) that according to you "we must accept
blame for terrorism." which you confirm by saying "right-wing idiots
on both sides share good amounts of culpability." Deny what you say all
you want, but your denial flops.

Another gross distortion. I said "Your political positions as you've
outlined them from time to time pretty much follow liberal ideology"
followed by three specific examples you didn't object to or question. I
said nothing about you daring to disbelieve conservatism or that you
were subservient to the democratic party. But yes, you are subservient
to an ideology -- the ideology of altruism, the dogma of a do-gooder.
> The point is, people should follow what they feel is "good", whether or
> not it aligns with party ideology.
Yes, I know. "If it feels good, do it." That my friend is an ideology,
adored by hippie apologists. Somehow you think you are free of ideas
and ideals. But you aren't. Nobody is. Your allegiance to your beliefs
is just as "blind" as the next fellow's.
To top it off you can't see that your self-described devotion to
nuanced thought is itself a static pattern that you cling to with as
much zeal as any rabid ideologue, constantly harping about absurd
"dichotomies " and holding out your way thinking about an idea or a
situation is the one and only way.
That is not only ridiculous. It's about as blinkered as one can get.
