Dear Readers,

Upon further reflection, I must repeal yesterdays comments made in favor of the following quote by Ham:

"It's pitiful that self-styled elitists are so intimidated by what they
regard as "the baggage of religion" that they refuse to acknowledge the
logic of a primary cause.  Obviously, this is the greatest obstacle to
philosophical advancement in the postmodern era."   

Though it is a very important statement, the most -fundamental- obstacle to philosophical advancement in the post-modern era is government control of economics.  As long we creators are forced to finance our destroyers in academia, obviously there will be no philosophical renaissance.  If and when institutions of higher learning are required to stand on their own feet, the humanities will naturally begin to flower.  

Sincerest apologies if my prior comments were a source of confusion, and thank you for allowing me to clear this up.
