Hello everybody,
Ham said: "...in man it is supported by
intellect and self-determination. When society
undermines these drives by supplementing indigence and
discouraging the work ethic, it diminishes the
productivity and standards of the nation as a whole.
...a household that fosters personal responsibility
and self-reliance
will go a long way toward eradicating the need for
public welfare. Local communities, not the
bureaucrats in Washington, bear the responsibility for
assisting the sick and poverty-stricken members of
their society..."
We need Quality time for more self-reliance. How
will this happen without discouraging the work ethic?
Balance. Working is necessary, working all the time
or too much sacrificing other things in our lives,
such as family and local community responsibilities is
downright unproductive for society as a whole.
Arlo said: "The historical track record for that
is not so hot, but I respect your faith in man."
This is where the problem is. Not just faith in
man, but man himself gives reason to lose faith in
him. What is the answer? What key point needs to not
just be made but conducted in which the spherical
thinking takes place.
