Of course you're correct.  So maybe I'm not really the hippy type.

As best I can, I'm striving to see through my own 
misconceptions.  I'm striving to detach from this culture that would 
influence and define my attitudes.  A while before I read ZMM, I read 
a book called 'The Social Construction of Reality' by Peter L. Berger 
and Thomas Luckmann.  It kind of documents how social level static 
quality develops.  As a hippy might put it, it blew my mind.

Socially constructed reality (sq) is very sticky stuff.   NOW is the 
place of nourishment.
