 Peter, David B. and All,

     I know you are an aethist so take this with a
grain of salt from somebody that could answer your
question more directly from experience.

     God for me is a source of all, but God is more
than that.  Sure balance lives in our inner ear, but
balance exists in morals, and in quality as well. 
Balance in our meals, conversation, and behavior
(whether on the balance beam or in our relationship
transactions).  Thus, for me balance is a code of
conduct transmitted by the universe (gravity involved
on the balance beam and earth's distance from the sun
is a great balance for life on this planet), by my
inner ear, by society, and thus, for me balance is
definitely not something I wake up to making and I
can't say I will live without balance today.  Even if
I am off-balance it is balance that I am off-of and
slanting my life in a whirly motion.  Yet, is balance
my God?  No, because of love, but is balance love and
love balance - I could probably connect these
together, but that is only because I tend to connect
everything together into one nice, neat universe.  Are
the protons, gravity and magnetism involved in these
actions of balance and love - are they the God of
mine?  Well, if it turns out that these atomic
particles are love and balance as well as the sun and
atomic bombs, then sure I guess my God seems to be
everywhere providing me the freedom to stand back and
contemplate this with debate.

     I must leave for work soon, but to try to stear
this back David B., I was wondering if the hint in
this degeneration and moral decline of the present
period is preparing society for the hero.  Culture is
being loosened up for change.  A change, if intellect
grabs and DQ is able to breath fresh air into this
culture on a consistent basis, then this change the
degeneration may be preparing us to is like rain
falling everywhere, but eventually the rain orders
itself into an organized march towards the ocean via
streams, creeks and rivers.  Maybe?
