Arlo, Margaret, and others,

Yes, Margaret as you pointed out the metaphors are
the actions of this culture. Arlo, you remember me
talking about valuing family and woods. I would like
more neighbors and friends thrown into the mix at some
face-to-face local, public forum or something. I
sometimes think about talking with somebody at a
coffee shop, but don't. I don't know that would be
breaking a lot of my habits.
We need the quality time concentrated upon to do
so. This coming from somebody that just thinks about
it - me. Which way are we walking? Towards the $ or
towards the one that might use the $ or benefit from
the $, or even to those times and places that live
without the $ in mind such as those quality moments I
mention.

Margaret said: "...jamming the signals that put
us in this
trance in the first place."

That dug something out of me. Thanks, now I walk
with a lighter load on my back.

Margaret said: "They don't tend to throw out
personal intimate relationships that didn't work, they
just transition them to another state of being."

Now that's something to contemplate. Taking the
quality time to do such things. Amazing! I like the
motivation here. The effort is kind and intellectual
all at the same moment: social-intellect level.
Transitioning to another state of being. You know, if
something does happen, it could become a movement
where we each notice a little here and a little here,
and then boom! Inertia takes over and none of us
would want to miss being in on the action. Especially
when you may hear people say something like, 'yeah, I
talked about that before', 'thought about this',
'hoped for that', and in hindsight we would be saying
'yeah, remember when we saw that coming', yet,
(Margaret) the possibilities were being shoot from
everywhere, the pieces all coming together, like
sparks going off, these sparks collide into these
pictures, and shaping into recognizable forms....
By the way, hints of your inquiry whether we
evolve or change states of being is still in
discussion. Isn't it Margaret? I am still interested
in such a topic.

Thanks,
SA
