DM: I think Pirsig is saying here that MOQ is as compatible with science as
SOM, in fact, its ruling concepts do a better job with the data than SOM
science. Of course, the concepts don't read off the data. I think you read
Pirsig, get the DQ concept and then 'discover' its fit with experience when 
applied to
experience, so yes anyone can get it. It is of course close to mysticism.It 
says
examine your experience, it says look at all the definable SQ. OK now 
subtract
all the SQ from your experience, what's left? Well that's the DQ. You're 
either
left with a meaningless nothing or when you really get it a significant 
nothing.
