Hello Arlo and others,
I have mentioned at times an individual level
for the intellectual level. Platt has too. I do not
argue against the mythos over logos understanding.
Therefore the societal level evolves into the
individual intellect. Yet, I also see it the other
way around. The individual depends on the societal
mythos to gain static definition to the intellectual
level of each individual person.
Now we also understand the epiphany that dynamic
quality brings to any level. The societal mythos
brings static definition to the intellectual level, as
I said, yet also the dynamic quality that interplays
with the intellectual level has these epiphanies
encoded by individuals as the code of art where the
creativity of DQ interplays with the intellect. The
intellect of any one individual person may view
something very differently than the rest of society
and even bring certain changes to the societal mythos
- the brujo discussion by Pirsig.
Thus, a certain static quality, namely with the
brujo the society being managed in the end by the
individual intellect, will have changes with any
dynamic quality interplay when such an interplay has a
code of art episode or epiphany valued enough for
definition. Thus, DQ put into an artistic code is the
DQ/SQ undefined (DQ) becoming defined (SQ). This
happening from the intellectual level down into the
societal level manages the societal level morally, as
long as the intellectual exchange into the societal
level does not usurp a previously more moral,
intellectual level exchange that at some point in time
encoded a more moral static quality than what the
intellect is trying to make static in society
currently.
I notice societal mythos defining the
intellectual level. Also, I notice the intellectual
individual defining the societal level. Yet, for any
static quality to last whether on the intellectual or
societal level or biological level, the value must be
enough that introduction can be not just something
that lasts, but a static introduction that is quality.
Therefore the intellectual exchanges with the
societal level and the societal level exchanges with
the intellectual level. Each independent of each
other, yet, each playing its' part in applying
constraint to each other in a moral order that encases
DQ on a level where the value will be static or in
other words, defined. Morality is a measure of
quality this balance between levels has.
