I think you're applying the MOQ too simplistically:

Lumberjacks (despite the Monty Python song) do not have a right to their jobs, any more than French teenagers do.  The HUMAN who is a lumberjack is to be valued higher than the ANIMAL who is a spotted owl.  However, it doesn't follow that the JOB of logger (or bank robber, etc.) is to be valued higher than a spotted owl.
A mother is at the intellectual level; an embryo at the biological level.  Her decision should prevail.
