All throughout history people have migrated. Borders and passports are
but a new phenomena. The biological has always dictated how we live.

Only in the lap of luxury, can one contemplate the social and from there
go on to the intellectual.

So to answer your question, yes the intellectual will be destroyed by the
biological and social when the push comes to shove. Now you have those
who will argue that we must destroy the biological and oppress the social
in order for the intellect to survive. That never worked, at least for a
long time. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Now if you take care of the biological ( some may call it a socialist or
a Marxist concept, i like to think of it as stewardship), then the social
will thrive and from that the intellectual will emerge.

Life is a delicate balance but unfortunately not everyone sees it that
way. God will always provide, and when he does not, it's rapture time.
Rejoice my brother they say, the end is coming.

Whether it's a nuclear holocaust, or a plague that wipes out half the
planet, they will relish in it.

Yes we might be zeros, and they might be the billion. But remember that
any number multiplied by zero becomes a zero. They will be nil and void
too.
