Thanks, Stella. The issue seems to revolve around the word "regime" 
which can mean one thing to the translator and several things to 
readers. Obviously the blogger has a bias against Western news sources 
and the U.S. presence in Iraq. Nothing surprising about that; we all 
see the world through a biased lens. I can cite several blogs that 
present ideas and articles just the opposite from those in Clearing 
House. For that reason I've raised the question several times on this 
site about what source or sources should we use in deciding 
questionable matters of definition and fact. So far, everyone seems 
reluctant to address the question, although Wikipedia is often cited 
and seems to be a source acceptable to many. If you have any thoughts 
along this line, I for one would be most interested.
