Good points, all moot if one doesn't believe in god. Which leads to the most
important point; why do believers expect rational people to play along?

Well you guys are hitting on a very interesting issue here. After all you
are asking the golden question to the middle issue.
First the Term Semite is derived from the reference to the 2 children of
Noah, Sham and Ham. The Semites are considered those who spoke the Sham
language ( as defined by the Germans) and that would include Arabic and
Hebrew. So technically if someone is anti Semitic he is being anti Arab
AND anti Jew at the same time. So I wonder if you can accuse an Arab of
being anti Semitic
Second on the point of race vs. Religion. If the Land of Israel was
promised to the Jews. Does Sammy Davis Jr. Qualify.
If it was promised to the race, ( more likely dark skinned dark haired
people) where do the European Jews fit in the picture in returning to the
promised land.
