Hi DMB

DM: Well if you want to ask the rock why it's
bouncing off your head go ahead?

DMB: What is the source of the cosmos and how would you hold it to account?

DM: I agree that's worth thinking about, exactly my point.

DM: Once againm I can confirm you're wrong, why do you keep going down these
avenues that neither of us are interested in? Avoidance of the substantial
is the only
conclusion I can draw.

DM: and now DMB will say: "what substantial issues?". Is anyone else finding
DMB boring?

DM: In the very broad culture of theological writing there is much to
condemn and much to interest someone wanting to explore
the possibilities of Pirsig's thought. Same goes for writings on science,
sociology, mythology, etc, etc. DMB's quest to simplify reality into
black and white is just a touch futile and silly.

DM: That's a clever trick! Wish I could do that. Sure you're not a
positivist?

DMB: And you only believe in god because dad never
> loved you. All those cracks about what bothers me should be dismissed

> is it the other way around?

DM: Damn it I think you're right. I think I might just be trying to get you
to love me.
Is it working? Can I tie you to the whipping post and sing you some Frank
Zappa
or worse, read you my poetry?
