Thanks Mark, it's appreciated. To be honest with you I can't see what
Glenn is likely to bring to the discussion that will be of any value
given that his only purpose is to do whatever damage he can by whatever
means. Perhaps you should keep that in mind when he next gets in touch
with you - which will probably be fairly soon. Like as soon as this
drops through into his inbox.
Mark 6-11-06: Hello Horse.
I'm not going to prejudge Glenn's contributions especially if they are
statements of fact.
Anthony cannot deny facts.
He can try to conceal them, but he can't deny them.

Fair enough - but the way this whole thing has been handled, what's
coming through looks like accusations and acrimony.
Mark 6-11-06: I'm asking questions not making accusations.
Anthony should appreciate the value of honesty in academia.
Horse:
If Ant doesn't want to put the interview in as is, or provide a link that's
up to him.
Mark 6-11-06: And if i want to ask him why? that's up to me.
Are you telling me i'm not allowed to ask Anthony McWatt questions?
Horse:
I'm sure we could have come to some alternative and satisfactory arrangement
by talking it out among ourselves.
Mark 6-11-06: Excuse me, but i was talking to Anthony about his site, not
you or dmb.

Horse:
I do now, yeah - couldn't you have emailed me about it beforehand?
Mark 6-11-06: I can't tell you about something before i actually know of it.

Try the refresh button on your browser. The link was sorted out a couple
of days ago.

Don't be daft - you know perfectly well that you'd have to seriously
piss me off for that to happen, which is highly unlikely. Glenn got what
he deserved and he's behaved like a big girls blouse ever since. No
moral fibre whatsoever.
Mark 6-11-06: Anthony and Glenn: two for a pair i'm afraid to say Horse.
One knows how to write rubbish, the other knows how it should be appreciated.
Those who choose to conceal rather than face their mistakes have moral fibre.
Of course they do.

See above.

Horse:
Both Ant and myself have and will retain editorial control over our own
sites.
Mark 6-11-06: Excuse me Horse, i'm having a dreadful problem here: Who is
suggesting otherwise?
What are you talking about?
Will you please try and appreciate the difference between:
1. Editing.
2. Being asked questions about your editing?
Are you telling us no one is allowed to ask you questions regarding your
editing if they should wish to?
As it happens, i have not asked you any questions.
Horse:
We both have the best interests of the MoQ at heart although we
may go about it in different ways.
Mark 6-11-06: I'm not asking you questions about your editing. I'm asking
Anthony McWatt questions about his. Let him answer his own questions.
Horse:
Given our interests and efforts over many years I would have thought you'd
trust us by now.
Cheers Mark
Horse
Mark 6-11-06: You would be surprised how many dents that trust has taken in
recent years. It's not taking an easy time of it at the moment.
Love,
Mark
