I guess yes, I guess we often disagree, I guess we try to influence
and persuade each other to think again, we can live with difference
and compromise quite often. I guess if it gets out of hand
we bang each other over the head with sticks, and then we just
better hope the goods people out number the bad, which in
the end I guess is what we have to have faith in.
When I say self-directed, we need to be made into adults first
and are initially dependent on others family, teachers, etc,
to become capable of some autonomy, and for this we owe
a big debt to others and their 'society'. As we are social
beings, which means we need a lot of SQ injected into us
to make us human beings, i.e. a higher level outpouring of DQ.
