[MD] economic pragmatism

(sorry i am posting so much: trying to keep em short
to offset)

i think it is just about axiomatic that the basic
skills of life should be taught to all. surely this is
how most primitive peoples had to live. and we of
course do not know what is around the corner, what
with climate change, peak oil etc. it is at least
plausible that some of us will be in need of
'survival' skills soon.

but after i have those skills down i think i would
like to sit on a hill and write poetry! good stuff as
usual mark
