Marsha, Gav, kill-joy here again ...
I love you both, and I'm the first to defend the buddhist perspective
of the MoQ, and the enlightening effects in controlled use of
psychedelics,
... but do you expect the MoQ to be taken seriously if our best offer
for a solution to the world's (enormous) problems, is some
happy-clappy, utopian, agrarian communist-cum-anarchist new-age
society as the only alternative to suicide ? We need more of that
stuff, it may be "so obvious" but it is not itself the answer.
Pirsig (with the help of Ant and others) has struggled hard to get his
book moved from the New-Age shelves to the Philosophy shelves. How is
this helping ?
Don't get me wrong, you're free to engage in any discussions you like
on this forum, I'm just curious how you see us making progress of any
kind.
(I've made my views on "governance" clear before, and will dig out if
they become relevant.)
