Sorry, (see above) referred to the statement - I am saying neither is
primary, they are simultaneous, which is what I believe Pirsig is stating in
Zen. Quality is the fabric of reality with subject and object woven into
that fabric.

Where in the statement, "Man is the measure of
all things" does it say, "Man is reality"? Your
saying, "Man is reality", the first quote is not
saying that. Remember there is that "things"
mentioned in that quote as well, that "Man" is
"measuring".
