DMB says according to Eagleton...
"God is the
condition of possibility for all entities".
This statement really doesn't mean much because it could have about 55 different interpretations. If I were running for president of the USA I would say stuff like this every day.
(Because BS sounds so good to some people.)
The dictionary has about a dozen meaning for every word. This is why lawyers can earn such a fine living. If someone pays you to argue. You argue. Only stupid politicians need to stoop to actual lying. Because it it so easy to give speechs that sound good. But contain no actual content.
Some spouses do this for free. No mystery here... human language is ambiguous.
If I were to say, "I love you MarshaV" This could mean about two dozen different things.
I don't need a billion dollars for the words stated above. But would someone send me 20 cents??

Recently, I read a piece by Terry Eagleton ..says stuff like, "God is the
condition of possibility for all entities". I guess that's supposed to be a
theological idea worthy of a postmodern literary critic like Eagleton, but I
really have no idea what it means.
DM unhelpfully replied:
You need to get out more.
dmb says:
Okay, Mister Man-about-town, I'll give you a billion dollars if you can
explain what that means.
