I was trying to respond to your post talking about unnecessary work but it
somehow got lost. Anyway, I just wanted to say I definitely agree with you,
a lot of work to me seems unnecessary. You mentioned particular industries
like advertising and drug manufactures. I would say throughout all
industries there is some unnecessary work. I think anyone here who has
worked for a corporate outfit can relate to superficial "urgent" work that
when looked at practically serves no use for the sustaining the company.
The only thing it really seems to do is maybe help those higher up in the
hierarchy keep control over those lower. To relate this to the MOQ, why do
you think these static patterns of non-useful work have arisen?
