Yes, Dave, of course religious thought can be very interesting. Most of what 
I do here could be classified as religious thought and I wouldn't be doing 
that if I didn't think it was interesting. And important. Of course I 
understand that dogmatism is not identical to theism. Its not that I am 
unable to distinquish a militant fanatic from an Oxford theologian. But I am 
saying that both of them are wrong. I think both of them have serious 
problems. I think theistic religion is harmful on a conventional level and 
incorrect on a metaphysical level. It has become an enemy of the intellect, 
a drag on the process of evolution, murderous in its practical effects and, 
philosophically speaking, it is profoundly misleading.
