This is the key point / question.
Many of us, me included, think that "G-d" is a silly idea, in terms of
explaining / justifying anything in the real world.

Why would I (anyone) choose to "live with" people who don't ?
Because physically we do ... live with them. Fact.

DMB, I tried to change the subject of these threads in the past, to
"working together with people" to achieve ends, rather than pointing
out our disagreement. I'd rather not have to "live with" people who
hold silly ideas, it's a drain on resources, but in order to get there
I have to influence and educate, to our mutual benefit.

Apart from arguing by e-mail, I'd genuinely be interested in any
alternative ideas.
